The Halcrow Lake Golf & C.C. has a number of Fundraising events planned for the upcoming Golf season. All funds raised from these events will be used on course improvement projects for the existing nine holes as well as possible future development and course expansion.
Plasma TV raffle. With each adult membership purchased the members name is entered into the draw. One lucky member will take the TV home at the end of the season. The TV is on display in the clubhouse and was purchased this year from Shane's Music.
Million Dollar Hole in One. This event is held annually at the driving range. It is a partnered event with THe Pas Curling Club. This years event is held on July 5-10. Volunteers are needed to work a shift or two during the week. Contact John Reeves if you are interested in helping out.
Par 3 Tourney. This year is the second year of hosting this event. It is the hope of the club that this will evolve into an annual fundraising event.You can enter as an individual or as a four person team by calling the Pro Shop. Individuals who wish to volunteer to help out with this event can contact Bob Kerslake or Dean Janz. The date for this event is Friday, August 26th.
The Spring AGM is scheduled for Sunday, May 15 at 1:00 pm in the clubhouse. Plan to attend to stay informed of all the positive changes being proposed for 2011.
Junior Clinic Information & Registration will be on Saturday, May 14 in the clubhouse. The sign up will run from 1:00-3:00. Call Rance at the Pro Shop (627-2300) for more information.
